High five for JSC Electrics

JSC Electrics will enter their fifth year of sponsoring Teesside Lions as the club prepare for the 2024-25 season.

The Stockton based electrical contractors are a nationally recognised company that cover work for Rail, Commercial and Industrial sectors across the UK.

JSC Electrics was established in 1990 and has worked on some major infrastructure projects such as Hartlepool Train Station, London Kings Cross Station, Middlesbrough Train station’s £20m renovation, Leeds to Liverpool Canal Bridge, Showcase Cinemas, Johnson Matthey, Fujifilm, Northern Rail and many more.

In May 2024, JSC were awarded the Sponsor of the year at the club’s Presentation Evening, attended by around 400 people.

Mark Costello, Managing Director of JSC Electrics has enjoyed watching the growth of Teesside Lions alongside the growth of JSC, adding: Over the last five years JSC and Teesside Lions have enjoyed significant success. We have both grown significantly, established our brands across the UK and continue to deliver high quality services.

“The synergy is a pleasing reminder of where we have come from, what we are achieving and where we want to go in the future. Both organisations are very family orientated and we are pleased to continue our support.

“We wish the Lions the best of luck in the forthcoming season, and hope our fifth year of partnership will be the most successful”

James Thomson, Chairman of Teesside Lions welcomed the continued support of JSC Electrics with open arms, stating:

“The support of companies such as JSC Electrics is vital to our ability to operate. As a club we aim to deliver above and beyond the average expectation. We are ambitious throughout the club and community activities, and the support from the local business community supports these endeavours.

“I want to place on record my sincere thanks to Mark, and while I know Rachel prefers to be out of the limelight, her role in supporting us is constantly recognised.”

JSC Electrics will maintain their five year position as front of shorts sponsor and will be a prominent feature on the launch of the new kit this season. The initial provision of kits will feature JSC branding on more than 640 items across the many teams within the club. Merchandise sales mean this number will grow rapidly as sales project these kits around the area and even internationally.
